♥ A seat at the table

We were the lucky recipients of a fabulous dark cherry dining table and chairs. It has two leaves, not in the photo. The most wonderful couple gifted their family set to ours and we will fill it with as many memories as they have. I recovered the chairs with a stripe that was 50% off!

The yellow tulips on the table -- $2.99 for 10 from Mount Vernon, a large tulip producer about 20 miles south of Bellingham. When I was in the Netherlands in 2005 with the European Study Tour the Hollanders knew of Mount Vernon and they import these tulips. There is a Tulip Festival that occurs around bloom time. Thousands of folks from all around the world come to the small town to view the patchwork of fields. It is beautiful.

♥ And did I tell you that I love you
