♥ Shrug it off ...

It looks like I built this outfit around my shoes -- which would not be a first.

Made this sundress from a 1954 Vogue pattern with fabric from the quilt store :) It has pockets and a side zipper. I bought a pattern to fit my bust -- but the size on the package was larger than what I wear. I made it anyway then had to take it in four inches! I sorta monkey-rigged the seams in the alteration, but that is what I am -- a chimp. All in all it's o.k. but the pockets pucker a smidgen. I don't think it's that noticeable but I put my hand in one to hide it. I'll get better.

The shrug was knitted from a pattern in Erika Knight's Glamour Knits. I substituted cotton yarn in lieu of the wool suggested so I can wear this on cool summer nights.

Poor Walter... the forced fashion photographer.
