♥ For Dad



For Christmas I knitted Dad a wonderful sweater from Vintage Knits. As you can see I love this book -- so many great recipes! For his birthday I knitted him a soft yet oh-so-manly scarf in a pattern called Scotch & Soda. I paired this with a nice bottle of single malt. Can't say Dad looks thrilled to model his sweater, but he sure looks great in it.

I've failed to update the blog in a while. Now I've got some catching up to do. This is a nice fitted French ingenue-esque pullover in Rowan Felted Tweed herb. The pattern is called Salina by Kim Hargreaves from Vintage Knits. I love the little bird pin I picked up from the farmer's market. Hope you like it sis!

♥ Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum


So it was lil' Caroline's third birthday and I wanted to get crafty for her. When Mom died she left her cat, Kiki, behind. Since Dad is not much of a cat person, sis generously offered to adopt the "keeks" to live with her orange tabby, Shorty. This made our Bellingham cat very sad to be left out of the party. So Tiggy asked me to send her clone to live in Ft. Worth with her cousins. Thus the creation of Tiggy II. I hope she holds up and Caroline likes her.

♥ For Liz


Liz is definitely the marrying type -- and she will be next week! For her Lingerie & Tea Party I knitted this cami with boy short panty in mohair. This Pattern is from Sexy Little Knits, and is the only pattern I will do. This is because the other patterns aren't the greatest.

I did a little embroidery with some beads. The bubble stitch on the camisole was fun. I hope it fits her.
